Berhampur: Biju Janata Dal Supremo Naveen Patnaik will hit the campaign trail today. Chief Minister and BJD Party President Naveen Patnaik will begin his campaign for the ensuing assembly and General Elections from today. Naveen will visit Hinjili and Seragada of his Assembly constituency today for election campaigning. With his joining the campaign trail, the election battle in the state starts. 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian will be there with the Chief Minister during today’s campaigning.
According to reports, the BJD Supremo will first join a public meeting near Samarajhola in Hinjili Block. He will speak about the various achievements and welfare schemes of the state government and appeal the people to vote for the candidates of Biju Janata Dal Assembly and Lok Sabha candidates in the ensuing elections. The narrative of the party this time has been vote for the Jodi Sankha or the Double Conch meaning one for the Assembly seat and the another for the Lok Sabha. At Seragada, he will address the people and seek the blessings of the people for the ensuing elections. Party cadre and general public are very enthusiastic and eagerly waiting for the Chief Minister.
According to sources, Naveen will file his nomination papers for the Hinjili Assembly Seat on the 30th of this month. He will later visit Tara Tarini and address a gathering in Chikiti the same day. On the 1st of May, he will attend election campaigning at Khallikote, Digapahandi, Chatrapur under Berhampur Lok Sabha constituency and Kabisuryanagar under Aska Lok Sabha constituency. On 3rd May, the Chief Minister will attend election meetings at Bhanjanagar in Kandhalam Lok Sabha Constituency and Polasara, Sanakhemundi and Soroda under Aska Lok Sabha Constituency.
Similarly, on the 6th, Naveen will attend two programs – one at Gopalpur under Berhampur Lok Sabha constituency and the other at Aska under Aska Lok Sabha constituency. On 7th May, he will attend three roads hows in Seragada, Hinjili and Berhampur. The Chief Minister will attend a road show in Gopalpur on 9th May. All the programs will also be attended by 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian.
