Chatrapur: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal President Naveen Patnaik will file his nomination from Hinjili Assembly seat in home turf Ganjam district tomorrow.
Before filing the nomination paper, the BJD supremo is scheduled to visit Maa Taratarini Temple to offer his prayers to the deity.
Naveen will be filing his nomination from Hinjili seat for the sixth time.
This would be the Chief Minister’s second visit to his home district in a week. Last Wednesday, he visited Hinjili and Sheragada blocks to launch the party’s campaign for the ensuing elections.
As per reports, the Chief Minister will reach a temporary helipad at Narasingpur Square near Tara Tarini temple from Biju Patnaik International Airport in a flight at 11 am on Tuesday. The CM will reach the Tara Tarini Pitha by 11.15 AM. He is scheduled to reach a temporary helipad at Onslow playground at Chatrapur from Narasingpur Square at 12.10 pm and proceed to the Circuit House.
The Chief Minister will file his nomination at the Chatrapur Sub-Collector’s office at 12.35 pm on April 30.
Meanwhile, there has been a great enthusiasm in the BJD camp and people of the district over the Chief Minister’s visit. The people of Hinjili constituency are very keenly waiting for the day.
The Chief Minister has been continuously elected from Hinjili Assembly constituency since 2000. This time also, the BJD leaders, workers and elected representatives of Hinjili and Sheragada blocks are working with zeal to script a historic victory for the Chief Minister.
