Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal President and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will chair the Party’s Extended Executive Committee Meeting today at the Party Headquarters Sankha Bhawan. The meeting is going to be attended by the executive committee members, MLAs, MPs and other office-bearers. A number of key issues are likely to be deliberated upon at the Executive Meeting. The meeting holds significance as the Party is going to celebrate its 27th foundation day on 26th of this month.
Yesterday, Naveen had asked the party men to rededicate themselves to the service of people of Odisha and asked them to undertake various social programs like plantation, blood donation camps and other social activities marking the foundation day of the party. In a letter written to the Party members, Naveen had called upon the MPs, MLAs, and party functionaries from grassroots to state level to take the state to greater heights adhering to the ideology and policies of legendary Biju Patnaik on whose name the regional party is formed.
