Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is all set to launch the ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti tomorrow.
The initiative aims at brining more transparency in governance.
As part of the initiative, the Chief Minister and other ministers will take feedback from common people on the quality of service and response they receive when they visit any government offices.
In the first phase, the new initiative will be implemented at all police stations and District Headquarters Hospitals across the State.
In the next phase, all the departments will execute the ‘Mo Sarkar’ programme by March 5, 2020, on the birth anniversary of late Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.
Notably, Naveen had announced the “Mo Sarkar” initiative during Independence Day celebration in the State.
The CM had earlier said that the focus of his government’s programme is common people and all departments are working towards ensuring that people can get their rights with the help of 5Ts.
