Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will review the Covid-19 preparedness in the State today.
The Chief Minister will chair a high level meeting with senior officials to take stock of State’s preparedness for Covid-19 in view of recent surge in Covid cases in several countries.
The meeting will be attended by the Health Minister, Health Secretary, Chief District Medical Officers and Officials of the Medical Colleges and Hospitals, as per reports.
The review meeting will take stock of the availability of beds in the hospitals, isolation beds in the hospitals and oxygen stock position such as Oxygen plants and availability of oxygen cylinders.
Meanwhile, Odisha is conducting mock drill in district headquarter hospitals, Rourkela Government Hospital and Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar on Covid-19 preparedness.
