Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today called for joining hands for protecting the Olive Ridley Turtles by saving their nesting habitats and conserving the endangered species.
He also welcomed back Olly – the Mascot for the Men’s FIH Odisha Hockey World Cup which is going to be hosted in the state.
Taking to twitter, Naveen said “As Hockey Comes Home, welcome the world to Odisha with Olly as mascot of Hockey World Cup this time too, to celebrate Olive Ridley Turtles and our sustained effort to conserve their habitats. Let’s all join hands to protect their nesting habitats & conserve the endangered species.” He also posted a video of the lovable Mascot Olly.
