Bhubaneswar: Ahead of dussehra celebrations, the Odisha Government has hiked the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 11 % for its employees and pensioners.
The revised DA allowance comes with effect from July 2021.
With this, the DA is enhanced to 28 % from the current 17 %.
The move will benefit a total of four lakh employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners in the state, stated Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The arrears from July 1,2021 will be credited to the accounts of Government employees and pensioners this month, a statement issurd by CMO said.
