Nayagarh: In a significant development in the Nayagarh minor girl rape and murder case, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Odisha Crime Branch today recreated the crime scene at Jadupur village in the district, where the shocking incident took place.
The SIT took the prime accused Saroj Sethy to the village and recreated the scene along with demo, according to reports.
SIT Chief Arun Bothra, who visited Jadupur village, said that the family of the accused was aware of the crime committed by him.
He further said the cloth, which the accused used to clean blood stains after killing the 5-year-old, has been sent to lab for testing.
Meanwhile, the Orissa High Court has asked the SIT to file chargesheet in the case.
