Nayagarh: In yet another major breakthrough for SIT in the sensational case of sexual assault and murder of 5-year-old girl Pari at Jadupur village in Odisha’s Nayagarh district, ODRAF team has recovered leggins from the pond where Pari’s body was recovered.
The water body was earlier dried out to get the leggins.
The recovery assumes significance as SIT chief Arun Bothra in the press conference had said that accused Saroj Sethy threw the leggings of the girl into the pond on the fateful day after strangulating her to death.
The bottom wear will be examined to ascertain whether it belonged to the minor girl or not.
