The humble-spoken Naveen has been at the helm of Odisha politics since March 2000 and has been continuously ranked as the best performing Chief Minister by a host of magazines and Newspapers. In another few days, Naveen will complete a full quarter century as Chief Minister of Odisha. The recent survey carried out by the India Today Group ranked Chief Minister again at the Number one spot. In the India Today Mood of the Nation Poll CM Naveen stood at the first rank as the most popular Chief Minister when chief ministers across the country were measured on their performance within the home state. According to the Poll Naveen received a whopping 52.7 percent respondents expressing satisfaction at his performance.
During an informal interaction with 5T Chairman Kartik Pandian at the Naveen Niwas, CM Naveen reveled that the secret behind his staying at the number one spot continuously for such a record time, is because of the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the Ashirwad of the People of Odisha. The 5T Chairman asked, during the interaction, informed the Chief Minister about India Today ranking him as the popular Chief Minister in the country. He also asked the Chief Minister what is the secret behind the CM remaining at the top rank for the last 24 years. In response, Naveen says “I think its because of the blessings of Lord Jagannath and the Ashirwad of the people of Odisha.” The video of the 5T Chairman interacting with the Chief Minister has gone viral on the social media and attracting huge admiration.
