Cuttack: In the wake of Coronavirus, it was decided not to organise Ganesh Puja in public places, big procession or immersion.
The Puja however can be observed inside closed doors with no public gathering.
As per the resolution adopted there will be no rituals or ceremonies held in public. No idols will be placed in public places, clubs, mandaps or educational institutions.
Similarity, only four people will be allowed to perform the ritual of collecting soil for Goddess Durga during Ganesh Puja.
