Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday said that there is no justification for setting up an Orissa High court bench in any part of Odisha as per the judgment of the Supremo Court.
In reply to a question raised by BJD MLA Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo in the Assembly, the Chief Minister informed that as per the Supreme Court verdict, there is no justification in having a bench of Orissa High Court in any part of the state.
The BJD MLA sought to know whether the State Government had any proposals to set up a circuit bench of the Orissa High Court in Bolangir.
