Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government’s Nua Odisha initiative has assured to train one lakh youth in new age technology, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik while addressing the 11th Edition of the Digital Transformation Conclave in Bhubaneswar.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that digital transformation is no longer a matter of choice but essential imperative that requires attention and action. Development in various sectors has boosted our confidence., the CM said.
Mentioning that Odisha has entered an era of transformation, the Chief Minister said that 5T and Mo Sarkar have brought in a sea change in governance, ensuring public participation in the development process.
Odisha is emerging as a leading destination for industries & investment, the CM added.
Highlighting that rapid technological advancements have prompted us to invest and equip our young generation with the skills they need to excel in the 21st century, the CM said that our initiative Nua Odisha has assured to train 1 lakh youth in new age technology.
The Chief Minister urged all the dignitaries at the Conclave to come forward and partner with Odisha in the endeavour. He also thanked all the participants for sharing their valuable insights and ideas at the grand event.
The inaugural and opening plenary session of the Conclave focused on leveraging emerging technologies for delivering efficient, effective and citizen-centric public services.
The event was graced by E & IT Minister Tusharkanti Behera, E&IT Department Principal Secretary Manoj Kumar Mishra, E&IT Department Special Secretary Manas Panda, STPI Director General Arvind Kumar and other dignitaries.
The senior government officials from different states and top industry leaders were also present.
