Odia Students From Kharkiv Thank Naveen For Evacuating Them From War Zone

Bhubaneswar: The efforts of the Odisha Government in helping the Odia students studying in Kharkhiv, Ukraine to get out of the war zone has borne fruits with maximum of the students moving out of the danger zones. The Students, studying in various Medical Colleges of Kharkiv, have thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the help extended through various channels and arranging buses for their evacuation from the war areas.

For Rutu Parna Rout, a student of Kharkiv National Medical University in Ukraine, who was desperately waiting for evacuation but nobody helped, the arrangements made by Odisha Government came as blessing. While the External Affairs Ministry or the embassy staff could not help her at this dangerous scenario, the Odisha Government helped her through a special bus and made arrangements for food and stay. The government bore all the expenses to safely transport the students from the war zones. She thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the help extended.
This is not the only story coming from the warzones of Ukraine. Like, Rutu Parna, Jyoti Prakash Dash, a first year student of the same University was also helped move out of the Kharkiv in a special bus. He thanked the Chief Minister for the bold step taken y the Government of Odisha.

Bansidhar Dalai, one of the many Odia students stranded in Kharkiv thanked the Chief Minister and the Resident Commissioner Ravikanth for the help extended to them and providing them with all the necessary help. Another student, Akanksha Mallick, also thanked the Chief Minister, the Resident Commissioner of Odisha and the Government of Odisha for providing the Odia students the much needed help in evacuating them and arranging for them food and transport facilities with government expenses.

The Government of Odisha had made arrangements for the transport of the students from the war torn areas of Kharkiv and send them to safer places from which they can be evacuated to the western borders. The families of the students have also thanked the government of Odisha for this timely intervention and securing the safety f the students.
