Bhubaneswar: Odisha has recorded approximately 60.55 per cent voter turnout till 5 PM on Monday in the second phase of simultaneous elections in Odisha, according to the ECI.
Voting is underway in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Kandhamal, Aska parliamentary constituencies and 35 Assembly segments under these constituencies.
As per the ECI, the voter turnout was recorded at 55.65 per cent in Aska Lok Sabha seat, 66.14 per cent in Bargarh, 61.35 per cent in Bolangir, 57.46 per cent in Kandhamal and 61.53 per cent in Sundargarh Lok Sabha segment.
As many as 40 candidates are contesting the five Parliamentary constituencies and 265 candidates are in the fray for the 35 Assembly seats.
