“Odisha Big on Employment” Trends at Top on Twitter 

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has approved recruitment of 7,540 teachers for government secondary schools creating massive job opportunities for the youth of Odisha.

The Chief Minister’s decision has been welcomed by the netizens on social media with very positive comments.

The hashtag #OdishaBigOnEmployment has been trending at the top of the Twitter.

Lauding the decision, the netizens expressed that the move will not only create job opportunities for youth but also go a long way in transforming the education scenario in the State.

“The recruitment is a great step by the state government to provide employment to the youth of Odisha”, wrote a Twitter user.

“This is a great opportunity for the youth of Odisha to get employed and serve the state”, mentioned another Tweet.

“Odisha govt. efforts to provide better educational infrastructure to children in every corner of the state, be it suburban or urban, are succeeding”, reads a Twitter post.

The Odisha Government has recruited about 13000 teachers in the state in the last one year alone. In December 2021, it had appointed 6131 teachers for the secondary schools and again in August 2022, 6891 teachers were inducted in the state schools.

The thrust of the government of Odisha has been to transform the education sector in the state through improvements in infrastructure, resources, manpower and other necessary interventions.

While more than 4000 schools have been transformed in Odisha under the 5T High School Transformation program, another 4800 school are under different phases of transformation and will be completed by December 2023.
