Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday lauded the Odisha State Budget 2021-22, explaining it a pro-people, pro-growth and transformative budget in our journey towards “New Odisha – Empowered Odisha”.
“It is a pro-people, pro-growth and transformative budget in our journey towards “New Odisha –Empowered Odisha”. Most of last year we lost in Covid lockdowns. From that scenario to present a holistic, fiscally prudent budget for Rs.1.76 lakh crore is nothing short of brilliant. Congratulations to everyone involved”, the Chief Minister said.
Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari has presented Rs 1.70 lakh crore Budget for 2021-22 in the Assembly.
The Budget gives thrust on transformation of healthcare, agriculture, education, livelihood, infrastructure and industries.
