Bhubaneswar: Odisha-cadre senior IPS officer Sarah Sharma will be inducted as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the CBI on deputation basis.
The Ministry of Home Affairs wrote to Odisha Chief Secretary informing about the approval of the competent authority for induction of 2010-batch IPS Officer Sarah Sharma as DIG in CBI on deputation basis for a period of five years.
“It is therefore, requested that Sarah Sharma may be relieved immediately to enable her to take up the new assignment at the Centre”, the letter reads.
Prior to this, Sharma has served as SP (Vigilance), Sambalpur.
