Bhubaneswar: The top officials of Odisha and Chhattisgarh will hold a high-level meeting to review the flood-like situation in the Mahanadi river system.
As per reports, the Chief Secretaries of both States are expected to hold a video conferencing at 4 pm today.
During the meeting, the top officials are likely to discuss the strategies on Mahanadi water sharing.
The water level at Hirakud dam reservoir stood at 625.54 ft by 9 am this morning. The inflow was 7.65 lakh cusec while outflow was 4.48 lakh cusec, according to the Water Resources Department.
