Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the death of three CRPF jawans in anti-Maoist operations in Nuapada district.
“Shocked at the unfortunate incident in Nuapada District where 3 CRPF jawans laid down their lives fighting the Maoists valiantly. My condolences to the families of the bravehearts”, the CM tweeted.

The CRPF jawans laid down their lives during an anti-Maoist operation in Patdhara area under Nuapada district.
The deceased jawans were identified as ASI Shishupal Singh (Uttar Pradesh), ASI Shivlal (Haryana) and constable Dharmendra Singh (Bihar).
The State Government has announced payment of ex-gratia of Rs.20,00,000 to each of the Martyrs family.
The Odisha DGP also expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families.
