Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of legendary sprinter Milkha Singh.
Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister said that he was deeply anguished by the passing away of legendary sprinter Milkha Singh.
The ‘Flying Sikh’ will continue to be an inspiration for millions of sportspersons, for generations to come, Naveen said.

Milkha Singh died on Friday due to post-Covid complications. He was 91.
Popularly referred to as the ‘Flying Sikh’, Milkha Singh made his name in the track and field, winning four gold medals at the Asian Games. He also won a gold at the 1958 Commonwealth Games in Cardiff.
