Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today condoled the demise of former Chatrapur MLA Daitari Behera, who passed away at MKCG hospital in Berhampur on Thursday.
The CM took to the Twitter and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
As an MLA Daitari Behera’s contribution for the development of Chatrapur area will always be remembered, Naveen tweeted.
ଛତ୍ରପୁରର ପୂର୍ବତନ ବିଧାୟକ ଦୈତାରୀ ବେହେରାଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ବିଧାୟକ ଭାବେ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ସେ କରିଥିବା ଉଦ୍ୟମ ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ ରହିବ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହିତ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

Daitari was elected as Chhatrapur MLA from Utkal Congress in 1974 and from Congress in the year 1995.
He passed away at the age of 81.
