Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on successfully test-firing of extended range BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.
Taking to the Twitter, the Chief Minister said that the missile with an indigenous booster will further strengthen India’s defence capability.

The DRDO has successfully test-fired extended range BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, which is capable of hitting targets situated over 400 kilometres away.
The test was carried out under the PJ-10 program of DRDO and involved the usage of a booster which has been Made-In-India. Under this extended range program, DRDO is ready with missiles with a range of 500 kilometres.
