Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today expressed his happiness over the flight services from the Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda to Mumbai and Bengaluru from January 12.
Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, the Chief Minister said that flight services will play a major role in facilitating better transportation and communication as well as economic growth.
ବୀର ସୁରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାଏ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର, ଝାରସୁଗୁଡାରୁ ମୁମ୍ବାଇ ଓ ବାଙ୍ଗାଲୁରୁକୁ @flyspicejet ର ବିମାନ ସେବା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବା ଖବର ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଖୁସିର ବିଷୟ। ଓଡ଼ିଶାବାସୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ତମ ଗମନାଗମନ ଓ ଯୋଗାଯୋଗର ମାର୍ଗ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ କରିବା ସହ ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ ଅଭିବୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ଏହା ମହତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ତୁଲାଇବ।

SpiceJet, country’s low-cost airline, will operate the services connecting Mumbai-Jharsuguda-Bengaluru from the scheduled date, informed State Commerce & Transport Department on Saturday.
