Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has grieved the assassination of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
“Deeply saddened to know about the assassination of former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe. He was a great friend of India and played a key role in strengthening the Indo-Japan bond. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family members and Japanese people in this hour of grief”, the CM tweeted.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced one-day national mourning on July 9 in honour of the former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe who died after being wounded by a gunshot earlier today.
