Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday grieved loss of many precious lives in a fire mishap in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand.
“Deeply saddened to know about the loss of so many precious lives in a fire mishap in Dhanbad. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief and pray for the speedy recovery of those who sustained injuries”, the Odisha CM tweeted.

At least 14 people were charred to death and several others injured, after a major fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad district last night. The blaze erupted at Ashirwad Tower in Dhanbad’s Joraphatak area, around 160 km from state capital Ranchi.
