Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his deep grief over the loss of lives in Kerala plane crash that occurred on Friday evening.
The Odisha CM said that he was deeply saddened to know about the tragic loss of so many lives after crash landing of Air India flight in Kozhikode Airport in Kerala.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families who have lost their dear ones and pray for the speedy recovery of those who are injured”, Naveen said.

At least 15 people were killed after an Air India Express plane with 190 on board from Dubai skidded off the runway and broke in two while landing at Kerala’s Kozhikode on Friday amid heavy rain, according to latest media reports
Among those killed was one of the pilots of Flight IX-1344, authorities said. All on board have been evacuated and at least 112 injured have been taken to hospital, authorities said.
There were 174 passengers, 10 Infants, two pilots and four cabin crew members on board the aircraft.
The flight was part of the Vande Bharat programme that has been bringing back Indians from abroad amid the coronavirus pandemic.
