Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, the architect of Indian Constitution, on his birth anniversary.
On the occasion, the Odisha CM remembered Dr. Ambedkar’s life-long contribution towards social justice and his unceasing efforts to uplift the underprivileged and marginalised sections of society.

Describing Dr. Ambedkar, a champion of social justice & equality, Naveen said that the great leader will always be remembered for his life-long efforts to uplift the underprivileged and marginalised.
The nation is celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti today to commemorate the birth of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar who was a key architect of the Indian Constitution.
Born on this day in 1891, Dr. Ambedkar was a renowned jurist, politician, philosopher, economist, and historian.
Dr Ambedkar was a staunch critic of the Indian caste system and is credited with bringing various reforms to elevate the marginalised communities.
