Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has paid his humble tributes to Saheed Laxman Nayak on his birth anniversary.
In a Twitter post, the Chief Minister mentioned that Saheed Laxman Nayak’s deep patriotism and lifelong struggle to protect the interests of innocent tribals will remain an example for all.

Laxman Nayak was born on this day in 1899 in Koraput district. He was a prominent figure among the tribals in Odisha. He had raised his voice against the British rule for the rights of the tribal people.
