Bhubaneswar: As the country observes National Consumer Day today, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has called for strengthened regulations to protect vulnerable consumers from unfair trade practices.
The Odisha CM also urged all to restate pledge to make consumers aware of their rights and responsibilities about the quality, quantity, standard and price of goods or services.
“On National Consumer Day, let’s restate pledge to make consumers aware of their rights and responsibilities about the quality, quantity, standard and price of goods or services; strengthen regulations to protect vulnerable consumers from unfair trade practices”, Naveen tweeted.
