Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has reiterated his commitment to continue expanding the forest cover for a greener future.
Taking to Twitter on the occasion of International Day of Forests, the Chief Minister highlighted the role of forests in protecting the mankind from climate change.
Naveen said, “Forests play crucial role to clean water, filter air, protect us from climate change as well as provide countless social, economic and health benefits”.

The International Day of Forests is observed on March 21 every year to raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests, and trees outside forests, for the benefit of current and future generations
