Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today spoke to Odisha ace shuttler Pramod Bhagat, who created history by clinching gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, through virtual mode and congratulated him for the achievement.
The Chief Minister lauded Bharat for his Marvellous performance at Tokyo Paralympics.
Bhagat, who became the first badminton player from India to win a gold medal at the Paralympic Games, thanked the Chief Minister for his continuous support for the development of sports in the State.
The Odisha shuttler beat Great Britain’s Daniel Bathell 2-0 in the Men’s Singles SL3 final at the Tokyo Paralympic Games to win the historic gold.
