Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will do an aerial survey of the cyclone Amphan-affected areas in the State today.
The Chief Minister will assess the post cyclone situations in four districts – Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore, sources said.
Hours after super cyclone Amphan crossed Odisha coast, the State Government on Wednesday had asked the district collectors to submit damage assessment reports within 48 hours.
The cyclone has caused devastation in coastal districts as a large number of trees have been uprooted and electricity infrastructure has suffered wide spread damage while there was minor damage to telecom infrastructure, reports said.
