Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy and 5T Secretary VK Pandian today reviewed the progress of Odisha’s COVID-19 hospital being set up in Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here.
The senior officials visited the KIMS and reviewed the progress of the first of its kind hospital, which will provide state-of-the-art facilities to COVID-19 patients.
Health Secretary NK Dhal and DMET CBK Mohanty were also present. From KIMS, Dr B P Panigarahi and Dr Subrat Acharya were present.
The visit of the senior officials took place after the Odisha Government signed two tripartite agreements with SUM and KIIMS Medical Colleges on Thursday to set up two COVID hospitals with combined strength of 1000-bed in the Capital city following the instruction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
