Cuttack: A dedicated burn care unit has been built for patients at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
It is the first dedicated burn care unit in any government hospital of Odisha, informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department.
To provide the best treatment to burn patients, a dedicated nine-bed intensive care unit at has been built at SCB MCH, Cuttack, which is also the first dedicated burn care unit in any government hospital of Odisha, the Health Department stated.
The burn cases such as thermal, electric, lightning, chemical and post-accident will be treated free of cost at the new unit.
