Bhubaneswar: The Deputy Mayor elections in three Municipal Corporations in Odisha are to be held from April 7.
As per the State Election Commission (SEC), the election to the post of Deputy Mayor of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) will be held on April 7.
The Deputy Mayor election for Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will be held on April 8 and 9 respectively.
The candidates can file the nomination papers for the post of Deputy Mayor between 10 am to 11 am. The papers will be scrutinized from 11 am to 12 pm. Candidates can withdraw their nominations till 1 PM. The polling will be held from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The results will also be declared on the same day.
The elections will also be held tomorrow for Vice-Chairperson in 105 Municipalities tomorrow.
