Bhubaneswar: In a major success, the Crime Branch has traced and arrested Ananda Chandra Majhi, the dismissed Inspector and accused in rape and POCSO act from forested area under Handapa PS of Angul district, informed DGP today.
He will be produced before judicial court today.
Earlier today Odisha Director General of Police Abhay had dismissed former IIC of Biramitrapur Ananda Chandra Majhi from service for his shameful conduct. Majhi was earlier suspended on charges of raping and impregnating a minor girl.
The 13 year old minor girl was also allegedly forced to undergo pregnancy termination.
Crime Branch has traced and arrrested Ananda Chandra Majhi , dismissed Inspector and accused in this case from forested area under Handapa PS of Angul district .He will be produced before judicial court now .
