Bhubaneswar: Odisha has earned accolades from the Supreme Court of India for pioneering digitisation of judiciary to improve access to justice for people from remote areas.
Orissa High Court has established benches which operate virtually across the State.
The apex court has lauded the initiatives of the Orissa High Court in ensuring access to justice to the people by use of technology.
The Supreme Court said that the Orissa High Court has creatively utilised technology to bridge the time taken to travel from other parts of Odisha to Cuttack.
It has urged other high courts to replicate the model.
