Bhubaneswar: With the successful implementation of 5T model of governance, Odisha has emerged as the frontrunner in the technology driven citizen-centric service delivery in the country.
The State is setting benchmark in providing citizen-centric services and expediting government process via electronic and digital means. Odisha’s citizen-centric e-governance initiatives under the 5T initiatives have been nationally recognized.
Odisha has bagged the top ranking in the second edition of the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment 2021 (NeSDA 2021) report released by Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh on Monday.
The NeSDA 2021 report, prepared by the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) , covers the assessment of States and on their effectiveness in delivering online services to citizens.
Odisha has been ranked number one in the State Portals and 4th ranking in Services Portals category in the NeSDA 2021 report, informed the State Electronics and Information Technology (E&IT), Department.
As per the report, the State Portals & Services Portals have been assessed over various parameters which include accessibility, content availability, ease of use, information security & privacy, end service delivery, and integrated service delivery.
The Odisha Government is giving utmost priority on technology-drive service delivery system to enable the people to connect with the government departments and avail hassle-free digital services under one roof.
