Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Tuesday appointed retired District Judge Gopal Chandra Patnaik as a Member of the Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA).
The appointment will be effective from the date Patnaik assumes office, as per an notification issued by the Odisha Urban Housing Mission (OUHM) under the Housing and Urban Development Department.
“In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 22 of the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016 and Rule 18 (7) of the Odisha Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Rules, 2017, the State Government is pleased to appoint Sri Gopal Chandra Patnaik, Retd. District Judge as Member of Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority with effect from the date he assumes the office,” the notification reads.
