Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today declared Durga Puja and Dussehra holidays for schools from October 9 to October 20.
An order has been issued by the School and Mass Education Department on Friday.
“The Govt. have been pleased to declare Holidays for Schools from 9th October, 2021 afternoon (after the classes are over) to 20th October, 2021, in view of Durga Puja & Dussehra followed by Kumar Purnima”, the order reads.
All the Educational Institutions will remain closed during the above period.
The Schools for class-IX, X & XII will resume from 21st October, 2021 with the same timing as issued by Govt. and the same SOP will be followed in view of Pandemic situation arising out of COVID-19, it added.
