Bhubaneswar: Further intensifying its war against the Coronavirus, the Odisha Government has deployed another 477 doctors to various districts for the management of COVID-19 pandemic.
This has been informed by the Health and Family Welfare Department.
As many as 225 In-Service PG Doctors and 252 PG doctors from different Medical Colleges and Hospitals in the State have been requisitioned and placed with the various districts CDMOs for Covid-19 duty. This will further strengthen the manpower in the hospital to fight against Covid, the Health Department said.
The order comes with immediate effect for a period of 3 months or until further orders for smooth management of COVID-19 in public interest, it added.
