Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Monday effected a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre, appointing Yamini Sarangi as State Project Director of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS).
She will replace Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, who has been appointed as Additional Secretary to Government, School & Mass Education Department, as per an official notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department.
The post of State Project Director, OAVS is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
Sarangi has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Additional Secretary to Government, Finance Department, the notification added.
Besides, IAS officer Vedbhushan, Sub-Collector, Dharmagarh with additional charge of Executive Officer, NAC, Dharmagarh has been appointed as Commissioner, Sambalpur Municipal Corporation.
