Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has enhanced the ‘duty call up allowance’ of Home Guards by 38 per cent.
As directed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary. The Chief Minister has approved it.
With the enhancement of Rs 416 per day, the Home Guards will now get a ‘duty call up allowance’ of Rs 12,480 per month against the earlier allowance of Rs 9000.
Besides, they will also get the other allowances, according to an official statement.
