Bhubaneswar: In line with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s zero tolerance policy towards corruption, the Odisha Government today handed over compulsory retirement to six more government officials on the grounds of corruption and inefficiency.
The officials include three executive engineers, a police inspector, one Additional Supply Officer, and one District Welfare Officer.
With this, as many as 158 officials have been given either compulsory retirement or dismissed from service by the State government so far, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has always stressed on the significance of transparency in the administration. He has been continuing efforts to provide services to the people through a transparent, efficient and accountable administration while upholding integrity and morality in public life.
As directed by the Chief Minister, the State Government has been continuing its crackdown on corrupt and incompetent officials, according to a statement issued by the CMO.
