Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Monday hiked the monthly remuneration of Urdu teachers and Urdu resource teachers engaged in the schools.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced that the monthly remuneration of Urdu teachers engaged in the upper primary schools and middle English schools and Urdu resource teachers engaged in the fully aided and newly aided high schools has been increased from Rs 7400 to Rs 15,000.
It is worth nothing that during the visit of 5T & Nabin Odisha Chairman Kartik Pandian to the districts, the Urdu teachers from the different parts of the State drew the attention of the 5T Chairman regarding their problems.
As many as 44 Urdu teachers and 40 Urdu resource teachers will be benefited by the decision of the State Government.
