Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has initiated the process of kharif paddy procurement for the season from the farmers.
Token will be generated 7 days before the scheduled procurement date.
About 14.97 lakh farmers have registered to sell their paddy this year.
Procurement process would start from the first week of November and continue till March 31, 2021 during which farmers can sell their 2019-20 Kharif harvest and 2019 Rabi harvest, the Food, Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department said earlier.
