Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has decided to promote ginger based enterprise among WSHGs in Koraput district.
A tripartite memorandum of agreement was signed between Director, Horticulture, Mission Shakti Department and PRADAN.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Famers’ Empowerment; Sujata R Karthikeyan, Commissioner-Cum-Secretary, Mission Shakti Department and other officials.
The project will develop sustainable ecosystem around ginger value chain for tribal farmers of the region.
