Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has transformed as many as 3,981 state-run high schools in the first two phases of the ambitious High School Transformation Programme under the 5T initiatives.
On the last day of second phase of High School Transformation Programme on Friday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has dedicated 416 Transformed High Schools in five districts of the State.
The CM dedicated 95 transformed high schools in Koraput, 31 in Gajapati, 40 in Sambalpur, 100 in Balangir and 150 in Jajpur districts, marking the successful completion of the second phase of High School Transformation Programme.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the school transformation will help the children dream big and move towards a brighter future.
In the first phase, as many as 1,075 Transformed High Schools were inaugurated by the Chief Minister, while 2,906 Transformed High Schools were dedicated in the second phase.
