Bhubaneswar: In yet another reforms in the examination process, the Higher Education Department has requested Controller of Examinations of all State Universities and Principals of all Autonomous Colleges (both Govt and Private) to adhere to the timelines of Examination and publish the results on time.
“It is requested to all the Universities/Autonomous Colleges to adhere to the timelines of Examination and publish the results in time,” stated a circular issued by the Higher Education Department on Wednesday.
According to the circular, delay in conducting examination will create cascading effect in the publication of final results. This will not only deprive the students of going abroad / other universities for higher studies, but also demoralize the students.
The circular has further asked the authorities to submit the information on the examinations held and the results thereof in the prescribed format to the Performance Tracking Cell of the Higher Education Department by email by February 10.
